Why use PMO Pharmacy?
PMO Pharmacy can meet all your prescription needs with just ONE call. From coordinating refills to free delivery, locating funding and referral assistance, we provide an exceptional level of service to both our patients and professionals.
Do I need to pay for my medications before you send them to me?
In most cases, this is determined on a patient by patient basis. We will send you your prescribed medications and then file all your prescription insurance claims for you, including Medicare and Medicaid. You will receive a monthly statement for any outstanding amounts due, such as co-pays or portions that were not covered by your insurance.
What if I forget to order my medications?
It is important that you keep track of your medications and be responsible for managing your supply. We recommend asking your doctor and pharmacist if you are appropriate for automatic monthly prescription refills.
What if my doctor changes my medications at the last minute and I need overnight delivery of my new prescription?
If your doctor changes your prescription, we will deliver your new medications free of charge via overnight service.
What is my 20% Medicare co-pay?
If medicare Part B paid for your transplant, Medicare will pay 80% of the cost of transplant medications. Our pharmacists can tell you the amount of your co-pay at the time you place your refill order.
How long does it take you to ship my medications once I place my order?
In most cases, our pharmacists dispense your medications and complete your order the same day you call. All regular orders are shipped ground and should arrive to you within 2-3 days of your order. If you need your medications sooner or for a Saturday delivery please notify the pharmacy to make arrangements.
Will you fill prescriptions that are unrelated to my chronic disease?
Yes. We can fill most prescriptions that are ordered by a qualified health care professional. It is safest for patients to get all their medications from one pharmacy so that medication interactions can be quickly recognized.
What if my insurance changes?
Unless you notify us of a change in insurance, we will be unaware of important information that will affect your claims. Please let us know of any insurance plan changes. Call us as soon as a change occurs to insure maximum benefits. Please provide your first and last name, address, social security number, the name of your new insurance plan, its Effective Date, Cardholder Name and Date of Birth, Cardholder ID, Group Number, and the address and phone number of your new insurance company (can be found on the back of your insurance card).
What if I have a question about my monthly billing statement or my insurance benefits?
Please call us directly. All billing is done locally at our pharmacies instead of an outsourced billing service. You will speak with the same friendly staff at your usual pharmacy. The address and toll free phone number of your PMO Pharmacy will be found right on your prescription bottle!
